Knowle West Dreams: Creative Workshop

Create a blue-printed dream for our window display — and another to take home. Free refreshments, all ages welcome.

Blueprinting, also known as cyanotype and sunprinting, is a process where objects are placed onto light-sensitive paper and then exposed to UV light to create a print. 

In this workshop, we’ll be blueprinting our dreams onto plywood to form part of a window display at Filwood Community Centre (the temporary site), and one to take home. 

If you’d like to, take a photo that represents your dream to use for your print. You can use your smart phone.

Your dream can be anything from what you wanted to be as a child, your dreams for the future for yourself or Knowle West, or even a potted plant you dream of owning for your windowsill!
