Filwood Community Café began with a trial event on 23 September 2025 at our temporary address 15-19 Filwood Broadway. Following its success, we continued running the café to meet a clear need in the local area. It is now well attended, with each event themed around seasonal occasions and activities taking place during the month.

The café brings people together in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment, where everyone can relax, socialise and make new friends. We particularly hope to reach people who may feel lonely, isolated or excluded.

 

 

 

 

B&A Meals provides enough food for up to 40 people, with a variety of meat and vegetarian options. Fresh bread from Joe's Bakery is served when available, and guests can enjoy a delicious dessert to finish their meal. The urn is always on, with hot and cold refreshments available throughout the evening.

Three members of staff serve at each event. All meals and refreshments are free of charge, and everyone is welcome.

You may arrive feeling lonely, but you will go home with a new group of friends.
